Sigma Mu Mu Donates (50) Coats and (10) Hats to Northern Area II Clothing Drive

On February 8, 2025, Sigma Mu Mu Chapter joined other Northern Area II Chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. to present warm clothing to the Acts Thrift Store in Dumfries, Virginia. The Omega men donated coats and hats that they collected from January 11- February 8, 2025 in an effort to alleviate cold weather health effects for area residents in need of winter clothing.  The donation is expected to reduce the risk of hypothermia, frostbite, and cold-related illnesses for the ultimate warm clothing recipients.

Sigma Mu Mu contributed fifty (50) coats and ten (10) hats to the overall donation that far-exceeded the amount the store could accept.  The excess clothing that Acts Thrift Store could not accommodate is being donated to the 92nd Annual Third District Meeting host chapter, Upsilon Nu, in support of the District Social Action Clothing Drive.  Sigma Mu Mu is proud to be a key contributor to this impactful activity.
