The men of Sigma Mu Mu (SMM) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. appreciate your interest and invite you to participate in the chapter’s scholarship competition.  It is our intent to award six academic scholarships totaling $8,000 to deserving students.  The scholarships will be awarded as follows:  One $2,000.00 scholarship, two $1,500.00 scholarships, and three $1,000.00 scholarships.  This competition is open to all college-bound, Loudoun County, VA high school seniors except the sons and daughters of Sigma Mu Mu members.

It is important that you follow all instructions, provide all requested information, and submit your application by the specified deadline.  For your application to be considered, it must be submitted (i.e. postmarked) by Sunday, March 31, 2019.  Applications postmarked after March 31st will not be considered.  This year we strongly encourage all applicants to apply for our scholarship via our online application for faster processing.  All documents can be submitted via this online.

If you choose to submit application via mail, please follow these instructions when completing the application: (It is strongly recommended that you submit your application online for faster processing):

1. Complete the entire application. (Failure to do so will result in disqualification from consideration).
2. Sign the certification at the end of the application.
3. Include recommendation letters from up to three (3) non-relatives, including at least one school faculty member, who can attest to your academic work, community service, and personal character.
4. If mailing your application, please Include in a sealed envelope an official or unofficial transcript from your high school.
5. Send your completed scholarship application, including all requested information, to the following address:
